DILTZ, Kayla Marie (Hendrickson), age 35, of Fraser, Michigan, passed away on September 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born July 4, 1990, in Bitburg, Germany, Kayla was a graduate of Hazel Park High School, Oakland University (BSW), and the University of Michigan (MSW). She worked in early childhood development with Development Centers and shared her passion for dance as a longtime member and coach of the Hazel Park Vikettes.

Kayla is survived by her loving husband, Scott Charles Diltz; cherished children, Tyler (5) and Kaleb (3); mother, Patricia Hendrickson (Dan Michalak); father, Donald Hendrickson Jr. (Georgette Gillen); brother, Chris (Hillary) Hendrickson and niece Lily; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

A private burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 11, 2025; details will be posted on Kayla’s Facebook page.
